Decks Plugs & Rock'n'Roll 2012 Structure: Courses start back Week 2nd January 2012

Ground Zero -Structured music making activity where young people will learn an instrument then along with their peers work on songwriting ,then once they are happy with the arrangements they will then perform where the participants in Live Lounge will then record and produce them.

Live Lounge -Young people will learn to record mix and edit live artists in a relaxed and informal setting using both traditional recording and digital recording equipment, they will then mix, edit and produce the material for the artists from Ground Zero

Digitize -An alternative way of music making,by using software and equipment to show how music is for all tastes and backgrounds, this shows how we can create and produce songs without having any musical experience or knowledge, using beats, samples and loops.Once created the can then look to replecate the songs on traditional instruments, which can then be included in (1 Ground Zero & 2 Live Lounge)

Future Stars -  Young people acting as buddies / mentors for students new to the courses that lacked confidence or music making skills but were equally keen to try these new activities which would increase their skill set, give them new opportunities to develop creatively ,whilst accuiring new socialand transferable skills by mixing with new like minded people whose connection is music but will come from a variety of backgrounds and social settings.
